PARENT SERVICE AGREEMENT (PSA) PROGRAM:

The requirements for the PSA program are as follow:
I. ALL FAMILIES:
     a) attend all three annual PTO General Meetings
     b) work two shifts per child (max 5 mandatory for 3 or more children) during The Olde Tyme Country Faire


II. PARTICIPATING FAMILIES: Perform 40 hours of service (30 hours for single parents: A single parent household consists of only one parent in the life of the student(s), and no partner with which to share the responsibility of performing service hours.)
     a) all hours must be fulfilled by the end of February;
     b) hours shortages will be assessed at $25.00 per hour;
     c) some families may have either met or exceeded their required number of hours in service to the school prior to      the Re-registration Sunday. If this is your case, please remember: All volunteer positions assigned to you rely on        your service for the entire school year.


III. NON-PARTICIPATING FAMILIES: $1,000 due by the last Friday in September of each school year.
However, each Non-Participating family is:
     a) not excused from attending the three PTO General Meetings
     b) not excused from The Olde Tyme Country Faire obligation


PARENT SERVICE AGREEMENT (PSA) TRACKING:  The PSA Chairperson will verify hours.
By the end of February, families should have completed their 40 hours of service to St. Francis Xavier School (single parent families = 30 hours). Families who have not achieved this goal will be assessed $25.00 per hour not served by the end of February.


All PSA hours are entered by the parent and approved by the person in charge of the event they vollunteered for.
